Description:

We are looking for an Arts Education Coordinator who will innovate and manage the arts curriculum within our Montessori framework.

This role involves designing arts education that integrates with other subjects, supporting teachers in curriculum implementation, and fostering an environment where students can explore their creativity through various art forms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arts education, experience with Montessori pedagogy, and a passion for developing engaging, holistic educational experiences for children.

Student Grade: middle-school

Requirements:

Education Required: Master’s Degree in Arts Education or related field

Minimum Teaching Experience: 3-5 Years

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education

Responsibilities:

Design and oversee the integration of an arts curriculum across elementary and middle school levels.

Train and mentor teachers on integrating arts with other subjects.

Collaborate with staff to organize art exhibitions and performances.

Develop partnerships with local art communities to enhance the program.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the arts program.

Manage resources and materials needed for arts education.

Stay updated with the latest trends in arts education and Montessori methods.

Engage parents and the community in the arts education process.

Report on program progress to school administration and stakeholders.

Ensure a creative and expressive classroom environment that supports student learning.
